Furniture Made Specifically for You

Every piece of furniture I build is individually designed and made for a specific client.

Once an order is placed, I begin preparing for the project. This may include ordering or selecting hardwood, sourcing components and reserving workshop time specifically for your build.

Because the dimensions, wood species, design and features have been chosen for you, a custom piece generally cannot simply be returned to inventory and sold to someone else.

For that reason, orders may be cancelled within 48 hours of being placed. After the 48-hour cancellation period, orders are considered final and cannot be cancelled or returned.

Your 48-Hour Cancellation Window

If you change your mind after placing an order, please contact me within 48 hours.

I understand that commissioning custom furniture is a significant decision, and this window gives you an opportunity to reconsider before your project moves forward.

After 48 hours, materials, components and workshop planning may already have been committed to your project, and cancellation is no longer possible.

If Something Isn't Right, I'll Make It Right.

Every piece that leaves my workshop is something I am personally responsible for.

If you notice a defect, damage or something requiring attention when your furniture is delivered, please tell me. I will work with you to determine the appropriate solution and correct anything that you are not happy with, no questions asked. 

Custom-made does not mean a client should simply accept something that isn't right.

It means your furniture was made specifically for you  and I stand behind the work I put my name on.

Why Custom Furniture Has a Different Policy

Mass-produced furniture is manufactured in standardized sizes, finishes and configurations. If one customer returns a table, the retailer may simply sell it to another.

Custom furniture is fundamentally different.

A Western Pride piece may have been designed around your:

room dimensions · preferred hardwood · table size · base design · gaming features · finish · storage requirements · accessibility needs

Those choices are what make genuinely custom furniture special.

They're also why the piece may not be suitable for another customer.

I'd much rather answer a question beforehand than have someone feel uncertain after placing an order.

Most custom projects naturally start through email because it gives us both the opportunity to share inspiration, discuss ideas, and keep a written record of dimensions, sketches and important details as your project develops.

If a phone call would be helpful later in the process, I'm always happy to arrange one.

Thoughtful communication is part of good craftsmanship.

Because I'm usually in the workshop building furniture, I may not always be able to answer the phone immediately.

I carefully read and personally respond to every email, usually within one business day.

That means you'll always hear directly from the craftsman designing and building your furniture not a salesperson or office staff.
